Moving Arts: MADlabs

I'm participating in a great new play development program created by Moving Arts called MADlabs. It's an excellent program as it gives several playwrights the time and space to work on a play from soup to nuts. Time and space are usually two luxuries writers never have. Moving Arts generously provides logistical and personnel support to aid the writer in their process. Last night they hosted a private reading for the second draft of a new play I'm writing titled News for the Deaf Man about the attempt at reconciliation between a long estranged father and son.

The program culminates in a public reading this fall so stay tuned.

Thank you to Moving Arts, Darin Anthony, Michael Shutt, Lemuel H. Thornton III, Cece Tio, and all the other awesome people at Moving Arts for your commitment to playwrights and new plays .
